Commissioners approve resurfacing agreement

The Miami County commissioners approved an agreement Tuesday with the city of Tipp City for the North Hyatt Street resurfacing project, which will be paid for in part by a federal grant of $499,220.

The balance of the project will be shared by the county and Tipp City with the cost based in proportion to the area under their jurisdiction. The county share of 39 percent is expected at $44,238 while the city’s of 61 percent is $98,466.
