Movie: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, 8 PM on SYFY and USA:

This Friday the 13th is lucky for “Harry Potter” fans, as USA and Syfy offer a weekend getaway to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry via a marathon simulcast of J.K. Rowling’s entire epic saga of “the boy who lived” and his friends (and enemies). As Harry, Hermione and Ron, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint are among the common elements in the entire eight-film series; Maggie Smith, Michael Gambon and Alan Rickman also star.

The Great British Baking Show, 9 PM on Ch. 48; 1 AM on Ch. 16 and Ch. 48:

If you’re a fan of pies — and who isn’t? — this new round of the competition will be right up your alley and after your taste buds. The remaining contestants first have to create a Wellington, which involves more than pastry, then they’re on to another big challenge in making hand-raised pies. Finally, they have to devise an American pie ... and we assume the show isn’t referring to the Don McLean song by that name. Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood are the judges.

The Dead Files, 9 PM on TRAV; 12 AM on TRAV:

“Revealed: Controlled — Estill Springs, Tennessee,” an “enhanced” version of an earlier episode, takes paranormal investigators Steve DiSchiavi and Amy Allan to a family home in Middle Tennessee, where the husband and father is behaving in a manner that suggests he may be under some sort of paranormal influence. Steve’s research into the history of the property reveals that a previous owner endured several calamities. Meanwhile, Amy fends off attacks from a violent entity.
