Atrium Medical Center holdscommunity picnic

AtriumMedical Center is holding a community picnic on Saturday, Aug. 4, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the hospital’s Professional Building, 200Medical Center Drive, Middletown.

The hospital will offer information about hospital services and technology it offers. Activities will include:

■ Free lunch, plus snowcones and snacks;

■ Highway to Help charity motorcycle ride departure. To register, call 513-974-5144 or email foundation@atriummedcenter.org. Registration is $25. Riders can also register the same day of the event beginning at 10 a.m. at Atrium. Motorcycles depart the hospital campus at noon. Proceeds from Highway to Help, which is organized by hospital employees, benefits Adopt-A-Family during the holidays. Last year, money raised at Highway to Help aided more than 60 local families and children.

■ A safety fair featuring the CareFlight helicopter;

■ Health screenings and health information;

■ Hospital tours;

■ Atrium Medical Center Mobile Mammography Coach available for appointments and tours. Schedule a mobile mammogram by calling 855-887-7364;

■ In attendance are to be NFL alumni JimBreech, the Cincinnati Bengals’ all-time leading scorer; Robert Jackson, former safety and Cincinnati Bengals player; David Wilkins, former defensive end and San Francisco 49ers player; Bob Johnson, former center who played 12 seasons with the Bengals; and Keith Rucker, former defensive tackle and Bengals player;

■ Giveaways and raffle prizes; Community partners, including Abilities First, Otterbein Middletown, MidPointe Library, Miami University Regionals, Middletown Visitors Bureau, Families First, LifeCenter Organ Donor Network, The CEI Foundation, and Atrium Family YMCA.
