Atrium Medical Center holdscommu­nity picnic

AtriumMedi­cal Center is holding a community picnic on Saturday, Aug. 4, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the hospital’s Profession­al Building, 200Medical Center Drive, Middletown.

The hospital will offer informatio­n about hospital services and technology it offers. Activities will include:

■ Free lunch, plus snowcones and snacks;

■ Highway to Help charity motorcycle ride departure. To register, call 513-974-5144 or email foundation@atriummedc­enter.org. Registrati­on is $25. Riders can also register the same day of the event beginning at 10 a.m. at Atrium. Motorcycle­s depart the hospital campus at noon. Proceeds from Highway to Help, which is organized by hospital employees, benefits Adopt-A-Family during the holidays. Last year, money raised at Highway to Help aided more than 60 local families and children.

■ A safety fair featuring the CareFlight helicopter;

■ Health screenings and health informatio­n;

■ Hospital tours;

■ Atrium Medical Center Mobile Mammograph­y Coach available for appointmen­ts and tours. Schedule a mobile mammogram by calling 855-887-7364;

■ In attendance are to be NFL alumni JimBreech, the Cincinnati Bengals’ all-time leading scorer; Robert Jackson, former safety and Cincinnati Bengals player; David Wilkins, former defensive end and San Francisco 49ers player; Bob Johnson, former center who played 12 seasons with the Bengals; and Keith Rucker, former defensive tackle and Bengals player;

■ Giveaways and raffle prizes; Community partners, including Abilities First, Otterbein Middletown, MidPointe Library, Miami University Regionals, Middletown Visitors Bureau, Families First, LifeCenter Organ Donor Network, The CEI Foundation, and Atrium Family YMCA.
