Charges have been fifiled in a Friday morning stabbing incident in Fairborn.

Jordan Tyler, 21, was charged with felonious assault and carrying a concealed weapon, according to Fairborn police. Bond was set at $75,000. Tyler was located at the scene before being taken into custody, police said. He was booked in the Fairborn City Jail on a charge of felonious assault, records show.

The victim, a 28-year-old male, is at Miami ValleyHosp­ital, but his condition is unknown.

A part-time Enon police offifficer arrested Wednesday along with another man after a woman was stabbed in Montgomery County will not be charged, prosecutor­s said.

Offifficer DwightRich­ard, 49, remains on administra­tive leave from his job, according to Enon Police Chief Lew Wilcox.

Tyler Minton, 31, remains in custody and was charged with two counts of felonious assault, Montgomery County prosecutor­s said.

Prosecutor­s said based on the evidence presented to their offiffice, they believe Mintonis thepersonw­hostabbed the 34-year-old female.

Richard and Minton were arrested in the 11000 block of WolfCreekP­ike in PerryTwp. late Tuesday evening where the stabbing occurred. In a call to police, Richard identififi­ed himself as an offfffffff­fff-duty police offifficer and askedMinto­n not to shoot him.

A day after being released fromjail, Richard spoke with this newsorgani­zation, saying hewas never charged with a crime. He was detained as a part of the investigat­ion — as any department has the right to do for 48 hours — and he did not have to post bail to get out, Richard said.
