Graham Simpson, sophomore, Stebbins High School School and career

■ Name, age and grade: Graham Simpson, 15, sophomore

■ What is your favorite class or activity in school and why? JROTC is my favorite because it is a community and serves the community.

■ Which school subject is most challengin­g to you? Algebra was a challenge for me during my freshman year.

■ In your entire school career, which teacher has had the most impact on you and why? Dr. ( Joyce) Eardley helped me be successful my freshman year and in physical science.

■ What do you want to do after high school? I want to do ROTC in college and become an officer in the Air Force or join the Air National Guard and go to college.

Extracurri­cular activities

■ Besides socializin­g with friends, what do you like to do in your spare time? Listen to music and practice playing the drums.

■ Do you belong to any organizati­ons, teams, or clubs in and out of school? I am in the marching band and drumline. I am in JROTC. I am on the track and field team.

General interest

■ If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why? I would like to visit Italy and the Vatican. There is a lot of history, culture and artwork I would like to see.

■ Do you have a special talent or an interest that you know a lot about? Playing the drums in the band is my talent. An area I am very interested in and know a lot about are the different branches of the military.

■ How many brothers and sisters do you have? I have an identical twin, Keagan, and a little brother, Liam.

■ Do you have pets? Yes, a cat named Gracie, a Bassett Hound named Buffy and a Puggle named Belushi.

■ What is your favorite food? Pizza. Pepperoni and sausage pizza is the best.

■ What was your favorite movie that you saw in the last 6 months? “Ready Player One” was a great movie.

■ What is your favorite band or music? Alternativ­e rock is the type of music I listen to the most.

■ Who do you look up to most? My parents. They support me and help me with life skills. They are successful and work really hard.
