Building Blocks 5K

Building Blocks for Kids will hold its annual Bubble Blast 5K Run/Walk at 10 a.m. Aug. 25 at Corwin Nixon Park. Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome to attend the race, which will benefit children in the tri-state area who need adaptive equipment, therapies, minor home modifications and mobility solutions.

The Bubble Blast 5K will feature music, a vendor fair, food, dancing, a bubble pit and much more. Early registration is available, with day of registration starting at 8:30 a.m. The cost to register is $40 for adults, $25 for children ages 5-17, and free for children under 5.

Building Blocks for Kids envisions a community where the needs of children with physical, emotional and developmental challenges are being met. The mission is to bridge the funding gap for products and services that help improve the quality of life for these children.
