Beautification winners

- STAFF REPORT

The City of Bellbrook Beautification Committee has selected its 2018 Beautification Award winners. Eleven residential properties and one business property will be recognized during the City Council meeting on Sept. 10, 2018.

The Beautification Committee begins their process in late June and takes several weeks to make their final decisions. The city is divided into five sections where the top home selections from each section and several businesses end up winning an award.

Properties are voted upon by committee members and then presented with an engraved stone. The stone is engraved with the title, “Bellbrook Beautification Winner,” and can be placed in their yard.

This year, the city would like to recognize and thank Bronne Wilson for her 31 years of service as the chair of the Beautification Committee. She has faithfully served in this volunteer capacity to make a real difference in the community. Bronne will be stepping down as chair and the city will be looking for someone to step in to lead the committee. For more information on the Beautification Committee, please contact Jami Kinion, Clerk of Council, at 937-848-4666.
