What I learned at Miamisburg
Being a senior at Miamisburg High School was a wonderful experience due to the exceptional environment provided by students and the school staff.
I am proud to say I am attending college at Coastal Carolina University this fall and majoring in marine sciences.
Miamisburg High School has directed me to that path due to our Environmental Technology Tech Prep program.
This program allows students to get a scuba certification on a week-long trip to the Florida Keys.
Being a part of this experience has shown me how much I love the ocean and all marine animals which has led me to majoring in marine sciences.
I have also been a part of Miamisburg Colorguard for the past 11 years, starting in the second grade. Being in this organization has given me the ability to be a team leader, help me make friends, and to grow as a person. This organization has made me very proud of my school and all of my accomplishments. This team of girls ended 12th in World Class Finals, the highest class a team can be, making me and the Miamisburg community very proud. — Jordan Christy
