DRIVE ELECTRIC DAYTON EV RIDE & DRIVE, 2 to 5 p.m., East Schantz Avenue at Oakwood High School by Mack Hummon Field Stadium, in celebratio­n of National Drive Electric Week. More than a dozen EVs, including Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs), Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs) and Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs) will assemble, along with a Dayton BBQ food truck. 12TH ANNUAL DAYTON CONCOURS D’ELEGANCE AT CARILLON PARK, 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., grounds of Carillon Historical Park, 1000 Carillon Blvd., Dayton. Admission is $20 for adults, $15 if purchased in advance, $5 for children ages 3-17, free to Dayton History members and children younger than 3. Presented by AAA. Featured marques are Cadillac and the E-type Jaguar as well as a special class, “Eight isn’t Enough” featuring cars with more than eight-cylinder engines. A casual preview party on Sept. 15 is open to the public. All proceeds support Dayton History, Montgomery County’s official historical organizati­on.
