GRACE ARTIST SERIES: WRIGHTDUNB­AR VILLAGE AND WOLF CREEK PROJECT: 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. today through Thursday at Grace United Methodist Church, 1001 Harvard Blvd., Dayton. Each work represente­d has been inspired by the architectu­re, history, personalit­ies and/or places of interest in the Wright-Dunbar Village and Wolf Creek areas of West Dayton. This exhibition is a project of the African-American Visual Artists Guild’s (AAVAG) Exposition Through Art program. The exhibit is open to the public through Sept. 28. Mon. through Thur., 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Sundays 9:30 a.m. to noon or by calling 937-278-4731 for an appointmen­t.

SAMPLES OF A POINT OF VIEW: 6 to 8 p.m. today through Saturday at Central State University Dayton, 840 Germantown St., Dayton. The African American Visual Artists Guild welcomes Dwayne M. Daniel, Professor of Fine Arts at Central State University and his “Samples of a Point of View” to its art gallery located on the 2nd floor. Viewing hours run until Sept. 27.
