Man charged with 2 counts of voyeurism

West Chester Twp. police have charged a 42-year-old Mason man for allegedly taking “up-skirt” photos of shoppers at a local Target.

Brian Dente turned himself in at the police station on Beckett Road at around 10 a.m. Tuesday, according to police. He was charged with two first degree misdemeano­r counts of voyeurism.

Two women reported someone allegedly taking pictures or video under their clothes while shopping at Target in the Voice of America shopping center.

Both reports were made July 28, the first at around 11:30 a.m. and the second at 2:30 p.m., according to police reports.

Township spokespers­on Barb Wilson said police made contact with Dente after the incidents near Target but did not have probable cause to arrest him.

“Police investigat­ed, they searched the contents of his phone and uncovered evidence that offered probable cause for the arrest,” Wilson said. She said his attorney arranged for Dente to turn himself in. was taken from a Bowersvill­e gas station during a Tuesday evening robbery, according to the Greene County Sheriff ’s Office.

Deputies responded to Maysville Street around 8:50 p.m. along with mutual aid from the Ohio State Patrol and Jamestown Police Department. A K9 unit also responded.

The suspect is a white male, approximat­ely 5-foot-6 or 5-foot-8, who was wearing all black clothing, according to the report. Anyone with informatio­n on the robbery should call the Greene County Sheriff’s Office at 937-376-5111.
