Costume 5K/10K

Support Miamisburg’s youth programs by participating in the 6th Annual Costume 5K/10K and Monster Mile. This fundraiser is scheduled for Oct. 21. The 5K and 10K will begin at 5 p.m. The Monster Mile starts at 4:30 p.m.

The flat and fast course starts and ends in Miamisburg’s Riverfront Park. Participants will travel north along the Great Miami River scenic recreation trail and then loop back to Riverfront Park. Micro chipped timing, door prizes and refreshments will be available.

The registration fee is $25. Shirts/ sizes are only guaranteed through Oct. 13. 5K and 10K run, 5K walk and 5K/10K wheelchair divisions are available. Awards are presented to the top three finishers in each age group and top three overall walkers and wheelchairs.

The Monster Mile is $10 to register. Children 6 and under may participate for free. The one-mile walk/run starts at 4:30 pm. Please no bicycles, skateboards or skates.

Family-friendly costumes are encouraged to compete in all events. Prizes will be awarded to Best Individual Costume (male and female; youth and adult), Best Couple and Best Group Costume. You must complete an event to be eligible to win. Race packets, check-in and on-site registration begin at 4 p.m. on race day at Riverfront Park. The park is located at 3 N. Miami Ave. in downtown Miamisburg.
