Forty-five minutes before each performance, Karen Burke will hold a pre-performance talk, “The First Step,” giving audience members an in-depth look at the performance. The sessions are held in the Burnell Roberts Room, 126 N. Main St., beside the Victoria Theatre.
“Behind the Ballet,” a Q&A with dancers, will follow each performance in the theater. “The First Step” and “Behind the Ballet” sessions are free of charge for all ticketholders.
At the University of Dayton:
Faculty members Natalie Sherwan and Anca Glont will discuss the historical context of Vlad the Impaler and Romanian vampire lore at 1:35 to 2:15 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 15 in the Sears Recital Hall, Jesse Philips Humanities Center, University of Dayton. The panel discussion is free and open to the public.
