Five receive promotions
The Miami County Sheriff’s Office promoted five employees to more efficiently manage jail operations.
Lt. Michael Marion has been promoted to Captain and will serve as the Jail Administrator. Marion is a 17-year veteran of the Miami County Sheriff ’s Office.
Lt. Nathan Collett has been promoted to Assistant Jail Administrator. Collett is a 19-year veteran of the Miami County Sheriff ’s Office.
Lt. Dawn Thomas has been promoted to Assistant Jail Administrator. Thomas has served with the Miami County Sheriff ’s Office for 21 years.
Sgt. Lee Larimore has been promoted to Lieutenant. Larimore has served with the Miami County Sheriff’s Office for 17 years.
Lastly, Sgt. Jeffrey Coats has been promoted to Lieutenant. Coats has served with the Miami County Sheriff’s Office for 17 years. expanded in an effort to reach out to local colleges and universities and attending job fairs.
