Movie: Christmas at Pemberley Manor, 8 PM on HALL: Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice” gets a contempora­ry romantic update in this amiable 2018 yuletide offering, which casts Jessica Lowndes as Elizabeth, a New York event planner dispatched to a quaint small town to assist with their holiday festival. She had hoped to use a charming local estate as the event venue, but discovers handsome yet grumpy billionair­e William Darcy (Michael Rady) is about to sell the property. The pair start to fall in love as they work together on the project.

Movie: The Post, 8 PM on HBO; 3:15 AM on HBO: Nominated for two Academy Awards, including best picture, Steven Spielberg’s fact-based 2017 historical thriller is a valentine to the Washington Post, the newspaper that figured so prominentl­y in 1997’s “All the President’s Men.” Set in 1971, the film chronicles the extensive internal debates at the paper as to whether they should publish the Pentagon Papers, classified documents containing damning informatio­n about the U.S. involvemen­t in the Vietnam War. Meryl Streep, Tom Hanks and Sarah Paulson head the exceptiona­l ensemble.

Ready to Love, 10 PM on OWN; 1 AM on OWN: This new dating series moves into its regular Saturday night time period with the new episode “First Dates,” in which the five men still in play decide which of the 12 women to ask on dates. At the end of the episode, however, the women retain their power to send home two more men who don’t pass muster. Thomas “Nephew Tommy” Miles of “The Steve Harvey Morning Show” is the host.
