Need help with food for Christmas? Applicatio­ns for assistance are still being taken at the Salvation Army Greene County Services, 2380 Bellbrook Ave. (located in the Xenia Business Center):

Morning applicatio­ns: Thursday and Friday, Nov. 8 & 9, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

One service per household. You must bring:

■ Photo ID and Social Security Card for each adult in your household

■ Social Security Card and Birth Certificat­e for each child ■ Proof of income

■ Proof of current address using Lease or Landlord statement or current utility bill

The Cedarville University student organizati­on K9s at the ’Ville will host its annual “Pupperoni Night” fundraiser at 6 p.m., Friday, in the Stevens Student Center (SSC) Event Rooms.

‘Pupperoni Night’ features a litter of 4 Paws for Ability puppies, a photo booth, raffle prizes, trivia, a 4 Paws service dog demonstrat­ion and food. The menu includes an Olive Garden buffet of meat and meatless spaghetti, macaroni and cheese, gluten-free pasta, house salad and breadstick­s. Various desserts and Chick-fil-A beverages will also be provided.

All proceeds from the event will support 4 Paws for Ability, a nonprofit organizati­on that trains and places service dogs with children who have autism, diabetes, seizures, hearing loss, loss of mobility and other issues, and with disabled veterans.

K9s at the ’Ville will sell tickets through Nov. 8 in the lower SSC for $5 per adult and $3 per child 10 and under. Tickets can also be purchased at the door for $8. Visit www.cedarville.edu.
