Man shot at Moraine apartment complex

A man was shot in the torso near the Valleyview Apartments in Moraine and police arrested the suspected shooter Wednesday morning.

Officers responded to reports of a person shot at the complex on Pinnacle Road around 8:45 a.m.

The man who was shot was hit once in the abdomen and his injuries are not believed to be life threatening, said Sgt. Jon Spencer with Moraine police. The victim was taken to Kettering Medical Center.

The suspected shooter, Dion Furlow, 26, was arrested on a felonious assault charge in the area of Ohio 741 near Holes Creek, Spencer said. STAFF REPORTS
