MVRPC meetings planned

The Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission (MVRPC) has scheduled several upcoming meetings, including:

■ Today, 9:30 a.m.: MVRPC Technical Advisory Committee, MVRPC Office

■ Nov. 27, 9 a.m.: MVRPC Human Services Transportation Coordination Council Meeting (RSVP required), Goodwill Easter Seals MV Eichelberger Conference Center

The MVRPC Office is at 10 N. Ludlow St., Suite 700; Goodwill Easter Seals MV Eichelberger Conference Center is at 660 S. Main St.

Hot 102.9’s Kev Nash will also broadcast live each day during the food drive.

Residents of Miami Valley are asked to donate nonperishable food items and personal care products anytime during the 48 hours of giving at the firehouse, which will be open 24 hours a day, without even having to leave your car. Donations of any type are appreciated, especially canned goods, pasta and pasta sauce, soups, cereals and boxed food items, to replenish the Food Pantry at The Good Neighbor House, which is hit hard during the holidays.
