Man in standoff to face charges

Donald M. Reese, 39, remained jailed pending the filing of formal felony charges of rape and domestic violence stemming from the incident at 1624 Alwildy Avenue on Monday night.

According to online jail records, he was arrested just before 2 a.m. Tuesday and booked into jail about 2:15 a.m.

He’s also charged with parole violation.

Lena Marie Heard, 49, also remained jailed pending the filing of a formal felony charge of obstructin­g justice.

She was arrested about 11:20 p.m. Monday at the same address on Alwildy Avenue and booked into jail just after midnight.

Reese and Heard are to be in court today on the afternoon docket. disabled person.

He was arrested Oct. 17 at the restaurant, 4912 Springboro Pike, in Moraine.

Brandon, who is held on $100,000 bond, is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday. He is represente­d by attorney Jon Rion, court documents show. company. During a stop for impeding traffic, troopers noted the smell of raw marijuana coming from the vehicle.

A search of the vehicle revealed a loaded .40 caliber handgun, 20 pounds of marijuana, a pound of hashish and 11 oxycodone pills worth about $74,280.

Reid was charged with possession of marijuana and hashish, improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, possession of oxycodone-hydrochlor­ide pills and criminal tools.
