Revenues have also seen rise at Dayton area’s 2 racinos.
Gambling revenue at Ohio’s casinos and racinos increased last month generating $148.1 million in revenue at 11 casinos and racinos.
The November numbers are up 4 percent from $142.4 million in November 2017, according to reports released last week by the Ohio Lottery and Casino Control commissions. This is money kept by the facilities after paying out winnings.
In the Dayton region, Miami Valley Gaming in Warren County generated $12.5 million last month, up from 11.7 million a year ago. Hollywood Dayton had revenues of $8.8 million in November, up from $8.3 million for the month in 2017.
Table games in Ohio are only legal at the four casinos in Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati and Toledo. Among these, Hollywood Casino Columbus led with $18.5 million in slots and table game revenue in November. JACK Cleveland Casino was second at $17.4 million.
For just table games, JACK Cleveland led the way with $8.8 million, followed by JACK Cincinnati at $6 million.
Ohio’s four casinos combined for $67.7 million in gambling revenue in November, up 2 percent from $66.4 million in November 2017.
The seven racinos had $80.4 million in the most recent month, up 6 percent from $75.9 million a year ago.
There were five Fridays in November 2018 versus four in November 2017. There were the same number of Saturdays and Sundays each month.
