This uplifting new documentary from filmmakers Kristi Jacobson and Roger Ross Williams throws a richly deserved spotlight on a group of public high school teens who have embarked on a challenging endeavor: restoring once-bountiful oyster beds to the waters surrounding Governor’s Island in New York Harbor. When they thrived years ago, those oyster colonies contributed strong environmental benefits that these young foot soldiers in a “green army” hope to renew after years of neglect.

Last night saw the four finalists no doubt battling near-fatal performance anxiety as they tried to sing as if their lives depended on it — and, from a career standpoint, that was a make-or-break moment for each of them. Now for that foursome, it’s a waiting game until host Carson Daly announces Season 15’s new Voice at the end of tonight’s two-hour live finale. Expect performances by musical guests, as well as final thoughts from judges Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson.

Beloved international chef Lidia Bastianich travels to small towns in America to explore the rich tapestry of traditions that make up the diverse cuisine of the United States as she opens Season 6 with “A Heartland Holiday Feast.” Her itinerary includes Sunbury, Pa., where she lived for a year with relatives shortly after arriving in the United States from Communist Europe. Other stops include Natchitoches, La., Denton, Texas, Wausau, Wis., Lawton, Okla., and Walker, Minn.
