Loan moves forward
A city Loan Review Committee agreed Wednesday to recommend the Troy City Council approve an $83,738 loan from the Small Business Development Revolving Loan Fund to Slimline Surgical Devices, doing business as Canyon Run Engineering Technologies.
The money would be used by the business to purchase additional equipment for its 1990 W. Stanfield Road business. The company offers engineering design and build services for medical instrument and aerospace industries.
The loan would be for five years at 4.5 percent interest. A city council committee is scheduled to meet to make a recommendation to the full council today.
