Police seek masked suspect in robberies

Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a robber they said is responsibl­e for three recent armed robberies in the city.

Zip Thru Beer & Wine drive-through on Patterson Road in Dayton was robbed at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, and the thief got away with $350. Vapor Haus on Watervliet in Dayton was robbed at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, but employees were able to chase the robber out of the store. He dropped money in the parking lot.

The UDF on Woodman Drive in Dayton was robbed last Saturday by the same masked man, officers said.
