LOCAL VOSS HONDA SETS A NATIONAL RECORD
Voss Honda is among the recipients of American Honda Motor Co. Inc.’s Honda President’s Award for 2018. This award is presented to an group of Honda dealerships, from among about 1,050 nationwide, for exceptional performance in all aspects of operation.
But what makes Voss Honda’s award singular is this: It’s the 20th consecutive year that Voss Honda, 155 S. Garber Drive in Tipp City, has earned the exclusive President’s Award. They are the only Honda dealership in the United States to do so.
“We are pleased to honor Voss Honda with our President’s Award which recognizes Honda dealers who achieve excellence in all aspects of their sales and service operations,” said Henio Arcangeli Jr., senior vice president of the automobile division for American Honda. “Nothing is more important to Honda than taking care of our customers, and Voss Honda helps set the standard for customer care.”

“Twenty years in a row is amazing,” said Roger Quandt, American Honda Motor Co. Inc., Central Zone parts and service manager. “The President’s Award is a very difficult award to win. There are so many elements to it, in sales and service. It’s all about satisfying customers and keeping them safe.
“The dealers who do win it are the cream of the crop, and to be able to do it 20 times in a row is an all-time record,” he said. “No dealership has ever done this – ever. It starts at the top and on down.”
To qualify for the President’s Award, a dealership must meet all award criteria and achieve its newvehicle sales objective. Voss Honda received the President’s Award trophy and recognition materials to display in the dealership showroom during a celebratory luncheon on May 17.
The President’s Award was introduced in 1995 as a way to challenge Honda dealerships to achieve the exacting standards Honda established for the brand.
Throughout the years, the criteria have been altered to ensure Honda dealerships remain industry leaders in customer service and satisfaction.
Voss Honda carries the Accord, Civic, Fit, Insight and Clarity passenger cars; CR-V, HR-V, Passport and Pilot sport-utility vehicles; Ridgeline pickup; and Odyssey minivan.
