Thein T. Aung, MD, is an electrophy­siologist who is joining Premier Cardiovasc­ular Institute, a Premier Physician Network practice. D r. Aung received his medical degree from Myanmar University of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at Easton Hospital Residency Program in Easton, Pennsylvan­ia. He also completed a cardiology fellowship at Wright State University, Boonshoft School of Medicine, and a clinical cardiac electrophy­siology fellowship at the University of Iowa.

Woolpert Geospatial Program Director and Senior Associate Mike Meiser has been elected to serve a twoyear term on the MAPPS Board of Directors. Meiser, a Certified Mapping Scientist in Lidar and a Project Management Profession­al, was sworn in at the 2019 MAPPS Summer Conference in Park City, Utah.

Meiser has 15 years of experience in photogramm­etry, remote sensing and the acquisitio­n, processing and management of lidar data. In his nearly 14 years with Woolpert, Meiser and his team have yielded several hundred thousand square miles of geospatial data products and services. He has written several articles and conducted multiple presentati­ons about lidar and geospatial topics at conference­s and to audiences that have included the Internatio­nal Lidar Mapping Forum, the U.S. Geological Survey and the National Oceanic and Atmospheri­c Administra­tion.

Woolpert Senior Vice President and Director of Government Solutions Jeff Lovin said Meiser’s new position on the MAPPS board recognizes not only his outstandin­g body of work, but his capacity for propelling the mapping industry forward. Lovin, a former MAPPS president, added that he was very proud of Meiser for being selected to the board.

Gabrielle R. Neal (Gaby) has joined the law firm of Pickrel Schaeffer Ebeling (PS&E) as an associate. Neal will be on the Business Law and Real Estate team where she will concentrat­e her practice on real estate, business and municipal law.

Jena Pado joined the Dayton Rotary Club on July 22. Pado is the Executive Director, Dayton Children’s Hospital Foundation and a resident of Beavercree­k.

Colliers Internatio n al | Greater Cincinnati and Dayton is expanding its leadership team. Joe Wiles recently joined Colliers Cincinnati as the new manag-director. In this role, he will lead the day-to-day business activities of the Colliers Greater Cincinnati & Dayton offices — overseeing its sales team, marketing, new business developmen­t and recruitmen­t efforts.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Wiles relocated to Cincinnati after college to start his sales career with WEBN. He eventually left iHeartRadi­o for Cincinnati Bell, allowing him to gain-specialize­d experience in business-to-business sales, particular­ly growing a sales team and a customer base.

Wiles is a graduate of Ohio University. Active in the community, he is a YP board member of Artswave, on the advisory board of the Duke Energy Center Children’s Museum, and the co-chair for UC’s Walk Ahead for a Brain Tumor Cure benefiting the UC Brain Tumor Center.
