Movie: Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love, 8 PM on

Ch. 2 and Ch. 5: A sequel to the high-rated “Coat of Many Colors,” this 2016 drama movie continues the saga inspired by a song by Parton, who’s an executive producer here. Jennifer Nettles, Rick Schroder and (as the young Dolly) Alyvia Alyn Lind all return as the members of the rural Tennessee family who face new challenges, including a holiday blizzard and the patriarch’s financial struggles to give his wife a proper wedding ring. Co-star Gerald McRaney also is back.

America Salutes You Presents Guitar Legends 3, 8

PM on Ch. 26: This all-star benefit concert aims to promote and support charities that work with veterans and first responders to ensure their mental wellness. Host Billy Gibbons performs and also welcomes such musical guests as George Thorogood, Warren Haynes, Nancy Wilson, Steve Lukather, Charlie Starr, Ellis Hall and Kenny Aronoff.

Craft in America, 9 PM on Ch. 48; 1 AM on Ch. 16

and Ch. 48: This Peabody Award-winning docu-series that celebrates the beauty, significan­ce and relevance of homemade objects, as well as those who make them, returns for its 11th season with a premiere episode devoted to “Quilts.” The hour examines how quilts convey meaning, and are rich in history, emotions, memory and beauty. Each quilt as unique as its maker, they also tell stories that might not otherwise be shared. A second episode called “Identity,” which immediatel­y follows, explores how artists offer true expression­s of their experience in this world.
