Realtors installation
Dayton Realtors swore in the 2020 officers and directors at the Realtors Instal- lation Reception, held at the Dayton Art Institute on Jan. 9. The highlight of the event was the inauguration of Sham Reddy as president of the 3,000-member association.
Reddy, a Realtor with HER Realtors, has been a Realtor at Dayton Realtors since 1992. In 2018 he was elected as Dayton Realtors treasurer and served as the chairperson of the finance committee, and in 2019 he was president-elect and oversaw several committees and projects.
“I am looking forward to an exciting year working for the membership and help- ing them succeed in this real estate market,” Reddy stated during his inauguration. “We will advance our initiatives in giving back to the community through our philan- thropic endeavors and volunteer efforts, and we will continue to protect home ownership issues through our legislative advocacy.”
O t her b oard off icers installed include Sharon Geier, president-elect; Billie Duncan-Hart, treasurer. Associated with Irongate Inc., Geier has been a Realtor since 1997, and Duncan-Hart, associated with Coldwell Banker Heritage, has been a Realtor for 26 years.
Members elected or re-elected to the Board of Directors are Jennifer Moore and Kunal Patel, associated with Coldwell Banker Heri- tage; Jeff Owens, associated with Better Homes & Gar- dens Real Estate Big Hill; Joe Willen, associated with Home Experts Realty; Eric Brown, associated with EB Real Estate; Matthew Arno- vitz, associated with CBRE, Inc., and Mike Romano with Thrive Mortgage.
Realtors who are serving unexpired terms on the Board of Directors are Pat Corle, associated with Home Experts Realty; Kelly McCormick, associated with Berk- shire Hathaway Home Services Professional Realty; Greg Blatt, associated with Keller Williams Advantage Real Estate; Karen O’Grady, associated with Coldwell Banker Heritage; Phil Sparks and Barbara Waddell, associated with Irongate, Inc.; Guy Roth, associated with Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate Big Hill; and Deborah Sasser, associated with Sasser, Realtors. Jan Leverett, associated with Irongate, Inc., will continue to serve on the board as immediate past-president.
