XFL Football, 2 PM on Ch. 22 and Ch. 9: It’s Week 2 of the inaugural season of the XFL as the New York Guardians visit the DC Defenders. Cardale Jones, who won a National Championship in college with the Ohio State Buckeyes, is one of the Defenders quarterbacks. Later on Fox, the Tampa Bay Vipers head across the country to visit the Seattle Dragons who have B.J. Daniels under center. Daniels once played in Seattle for the Seahawks as an NFL journeyman.

Movie: The Thing About Harry, 8 PM on FREE; 10 PM on FREE: Peter Paige (“Queer as Folk”) directed and has a featured role in this 2020 romantic comedy, which is premiering as part of a Valentine’s Day-themed programming event. The story follows two lessthan-friendly high school classmates who are forced to share a car ride to their Missouri hometown for a friend’s engagement party. Archetypal jock Sam (Jake Borelli, “Grey’s Anatomy”) isn’t thrilled with the situation anyway, and it doesn’t help when he learns Harry (newcomer Niko Terho, “Sweetbitter”) recently came out of the closet.

Movie: The Secret Ingredient, 9 PM on HALL: Bakery owner Kelly (Erin Cahill) was happily involved with Andrew (Brendan Penny) until he ended their engagement to attend culinary school in Paris. Now he’s back, and their chemistry is still intact, but Kelly obviously is wary about taking another chance on romance. She’s selected to be a contestant on a Valentine’s Day bakeoff TV show, on which she doesn’t discover until the climactic finale that Andrew is the rival that stands between her and victory.
