Louisville-based Trilogy Health has applied for 50 beds at a new long-term care facility, the latest in a series of senior living projects.

A developer appears to be in the early stages of planning a new nursing home in Beavercreek.

Trilogy Health Services applied with the Ohio Department of Health for a 50-bed nursing home at a new long-term care facility in Beavercreek.

The application seeks to transfer the licensed beds from a Cincinnati facility to the Beavercreek facility proposed at 2705 Lillian Lane. The location is behind The Shoppes of Beavercreek retail center and near the North Fairfield Road and New Germany Trebein Road intersection.

The city planning department has not yet received any application for the proposed project, which would need city approval to move forward.

According to the proposal, the Beavercreek campus would also have assisted living and independent living options “to provide the highest quality services to the residents of Greene County.”

The application was submitted Jan. 31 and is still pending, according to the Ohio Department of Health.

Louisville-based Trilogy Health Services is already active in the Dayton region, operating Cypress

Point Health Campus in Englewood and developing a new campus in Miami Twp. across from the Cox Arboretum.

The Beavercreek project would be the latest in a series of senior living projects in the city.

HarborChase of Beavercreek, at 4175 Indian Ripple Road, had a grand opening in

February 2019. The campus is near The Greene Towne Center and has assisted living, memory care and respite care.

The 122,000-squarefoot facility opened with 110 apartments and 75 new jobs. It was the second completed project for co-developers Confluent Senior Living and Harbor Retirement Associates

Traditions of Beavercreek, at 800 Grayson Lane, opened spring of 2016 with 103 units.

The facility at the intersection of Grange Hall and Shakertown roads has a mix of assisted living, memory care and independent living.

And Beavercreek is not the only community seeing growth in senior housing. The Dayton Daily News recently reported that in the wake of an aging population, there’s been a surge in senior living campus construction.

Some of these recent assisted living projects in the area include the 73-unit Crescent Crossing, which Graceworks Lutheran Services opened one year ago on the Bethany Village senior living campus in Centerville, replacing a smaller wing.

In November, Warren County approved a tax break for the future Traditions of Lebanon, which will be a 142unit assisted living complex just south of the Franklin Road-Ohio 123 intersection with Neil Armstrong Way.
