The Goldbergs, 8 PM on Ch. 22 and Ch. 9: Pops (George Segal) makes it his personal mission to make grandson Adam (Sean Giambrone) really cool for a big blowout that’s taking place at a friend’s house in the new episode “Dave Kim’s Party.” Meanwhile, Beverly’s (Wendi McLendon-Covey) cookbook has turned her into a minor league celebrity of sorts, which only feeds her appetite for fame, a desire that leads to an important lesson for her. Kenny Ridwan and Chris Parnell guest star; Troy Gentile and Jeff Garlin also star.

Howie Mandel’s 5th Annual All-Star Comedy Gala, 8 PM on Ch. 26: Howie Mandel (“America’s Got Talent”) hosts this 90-minute comedy special, which was recorded at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. The program spotlights stand-up performanc­es from some of today’s hottest comics, including Ronny Chieng, Cameron Esposito, Alonzo Bodden, Anjelah Johnson, Rachel Bloom (“Crazy Ex-Girlfriend”) and Fortune Feimster, among several others.

Criminal Minds, 9 PM on Ch. 7 and Ch. 12: The hit procedural, which frequently pushed the network envelope for intensity during its 15-season run, wraps things up tonight in two backto-back episodes. First, in “Face Off,” Rossi (Joe Mantegna) leads his BAU team in an epic hunt for Everett Lynch (guest star Michael Mosley), inspired by insights from his former partner, Jason Gideon (Ben Savage). Then, in the finale “And in the End,” which was co-written by cast member Kirsten Vangsness, the case takes a personal turn for Rossi as the team makes a startling discovery about their quarry.
