Movie: Dying to Be You, 8 PM on LIF; 12:01 AM on LIF: They grew up many miles apart, but when they were in the fourth grade, Chicago city girl Lily Anderson and Nebraska farm girl Molly Cumberland (Elise Gatien, Natalie Dreyfuss) were paired up as pen pals by their schools. They kept in touch as the years passed, each promising someday to visit the other, until “someday” finally arrives on Lily’s 25th birthday, when Molly unexpected­ly turns up on her doorstep. Lily’s initial joy turns to dread, however, when it becomes evident Molly has no plans to leave, in this 2020 thriller.

Seven Worlds, One Planet, 9 PM on AMC and BBCA and IFC and SUN; 12:30 AM on BBCA: “Africa,” the final chapter in this visually stunning nature series, finds host David Attenborou­gh in Kenya, where he goes looking for the last two known northern white rhinos on Earth. This being the continent that usually inspires some of the greatest wildlife production­s in the world, however, the hour also includes segments revealing how chimpanzee­s have learned to make and use tools and cheetahs are able to hunt prey twice their size.

Family or Fiancé, 9 PM on OWN; 12 AM on OWN; 3 AM on OWN: In the new episode “Sheri and Micah: Indecisive Proposal,” an aspiring rapper and his fiancée seek their families’ blessing on their nuptial intentions, despite the fact that nearly all these relatives are vehemently opposed to the very idea. In the process of trying to turn around their opinions, however, the bride starts to wonder whether a lifetime commitment to a struggling artist is really the sort of thing she dreamed of as a child.
