Day Registration is $20. John Welhener of the Greene County Board of Developmental Disabilities will be the guest speaker. Welhener has been working with individuals with disabilities for over 15 years. He started working with transition age youth (1422) in in-school work programs before transferring to the Greene County Board of Developmental Disabilities. He currently serves as a Transition Coordinator where he works closely with Greene County high schools and the business community. Welhener has a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Affairs from Wright State University and a Master’s degree in Secondary Special Education and Transition Services from George Washington University. Presentation Summary: The Greene County Board of Developmental Disabilities is in the process of creating a social network called All Hands In, which is designed to help individuals with disabilities develop social capital so they can have greater access to relationships and community resources. This presentation will explain how collaborating with the All Hands In Network is mutually beneficial and how businesses and individuals can get involved.
