Woman carjacked, shot multiple times

A woman was shot multiple times in the back during a carjacking Friday that ended at the Red Roof Inn in Moraine, according to a police report.

The incident was reported around 12:19 a.m. in the 2400 block of Dryden Road.

“I just got a gunshot victim here at the Red Roof Inn,” a man told 911 dispatcher­s. He said the woman was conscious, but that first responders “need to get here now.”

The caller could be heard speaking to others while on the phone, telling them to apply pressure with a towel and telling the victim that she’s “going to be alright.”

Once on the scene, Moraine police found the woman with a man holding a towel her back, as well as the night manager of the hotel.

The woman’s pants were soaked in blood and she said “she had been shot,” according to an incident report.

She had multiple gunshot wounds in her back and at least one in her stomach. in relation to the May 3 fatal shooting of a man.

Jashon Robinson, 21, was indicted into Clark County Common Pleas Court on two counts of murder and felonious assault. Robinson has pleaded not guilty and is being held on a $1 million bond. He was arrested in Dayton last week by the U.S. Marshals Services, Springfiel­d Police Division Lt. Matthew Buynak said. Buynak said he did not have informatio­n on how Robinson was found.

A warrant was issued for Robinson’s arrest after he was identified as the suspect in the May 3 fatal shooting of Tyler Fullen, 27. He was identified based on witnesses and video evidence obtained from a business.
