Good Bones, 8 PM on HGTV; 3 AM on HGTV: Mother-daughter home renovation experts Karen E. Laine, a lawyer, and
Mina Starsiak Hawk, a real estate agent, continue buying up dilapidated Indianapolis properties and transforming them into gorgeous family residences as they open a new season. In the season premiere, the pair buy their most expensive house to date, a bungalow in the trendy Fountain Square neighborhood. The location is great, but the structure itself needs serious work, including addressing some urgent foundation issues.
Movie: Greta, 8 PM on MAX: Neil Jordan’s (“The Crying Game”) 2018 psychological thriller, which he also co-wrote, stars Chloe Grace Moretz as a young New York waitress who recently lost her mother to cancer and befriends title character Greta Hideg (Isabelle Huppert), a lonely widowed piano teacher and former nurse. It’s not long, though, before Greta develops an unhealthy obsession with her new friend. Maika Monroe, Stephen Rea, Colm Feore and Zawe Ashton also are featured.
Lost Gold of World War II, 9 PM on HIST; 12:03 AM on HIST: The quest for one of the largest treasures in modern-day history continues in the new episode “We’re Not Alone,” as the team finally reaches the bottom of Breach 6, where they find startling and disheartening evidence suggesting that they may be too late. Worse, the miners’ lives are in serious danger after they trigger a hazard in the tunnel. Finally, Bingo uncovers some alarming evidence that strikes a little too close to home, pertaining to who else might be after the gold.
