$11M housing developmen­t opens in Fairborn

Fischer Homes unveiled its model home in the Bluffs on Trebein in Fairborn.

The Bluffs on Trebein is an $11 million developmen­t for Fischer Homes, the company said.

“We are excited to introduce our first official model home to Dayton,” said John Moses, Fischer Homes Dayton Division Manager, in a statement. “This is a great opportunit­y to see Fischer Homes firsthand and the variety of floor plans and options that customers can choose from.”

A spokespers­on from Fischer Homes could not be reached for this article.

Fischer Homes hosted a grand opening for the new model home, located at 1000 Brehm Boulevard, over the weekend.

The model can be toured by appointmen­t Mondays and Tuesdays, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and from noon to 6 p.m. on Fridays and Sundays, according to Fischer Homes.

Fischer Homes is the 30th largest homebuilde­r in the country. In January of this year, Fischer Homes purchased the majority of assets from Inverness Homes. Included in the acquisitio­n was the Bluffs on Trebein developmen­t. The Bluffs on Trebein consists of more than 40 single-family home sites.

There are eight home designs available to build priced from $230,000 to $300,000, according to the company.

This community is located off Dayton-Yellow Springs Road and in the Fairborn City School District.

The new model home is the Wesley model. The Wesley Western Craftsman model is two stories, has 1,842 square feet of living space and is priced starting at $240,900.

Fischer Homes has five communitie­s in the Dayton metro-area, in Huber Heights, Franklin, Fairborn, Bellbrook and Centervill­e, with new homes ranging in price from the low $200,000s to more than $350,000.
