Movie: Birthmothe­r’s Betrayal, 8 PM on LIF;

12:01 AM on LIF: At 16, Tara discovers the name of her birth mother, Grace, on a DNA website and reaches out to the older woman. In short order, Grace comes crashing into the life of the daughter she gave up years ago, much to the consternat­ion of Amy, who subsequent­ly adopted Tara and gave her a stable home. “Stable,” however, is the last word to describe Grace, who has both a needy love for Tara and a poisonous resentment toward Amy. Tanya Clarke, Aria Pullman, Monica Rose Betz and Matthew Pohlkamp star.

Movie: Ford v Ferrari,

8 PM on HBO: James Mangold’s 2019 sports drama emerged as one of that year’s winners from every perspectiv­e, earning big bucks at the global box office, cheers from critics and multiple accolades, including an Oscar nomination as best picture and wins in two editing categories. Matt Damon and Christian Bale head the cast as, respective­ly, automotive designer Carroll Shelby and British driver Ken Miles, leaders of an American team determined to build a new racing car that can break the Ferrari winning streak at Le Mans. Jon Bernthal also stars.

My Paranormal Nightmare, 11 PM on

TRAV; 3 AM on TRAV: The new episode “Possession” delivers more deeply unsettling paranormal takes as chronicled by firstperso­n witness accounts. Demonic entities seek control of their victims through possession in one segment, and an evil spirit follows a father and daughter home from church. A pair of cousins learn the sinister risks of trying to interact with the dead after they unleash hell when they play with a spirit board. Finally, shadowy creatures wreak havoc on a young girl’s life.
