CMA Fest, the Country Music Associatio­n’s annual fan event in Nashville, Tenn., had to be postponed this summer due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the spirit of that continues unabated in this new three-hour special, which presents highlights from the past 16 years of these gatherings. Country superstar Luke Bryan serves as host for the special and joins special guest Darius Rucker on a number. Among others set to appear are Trace Adkins, Garth Brooks, Kelsea Ballerini, Brooks & Dunn, Joan Jett, Brad Paisley, Lady A, Blake Shelton and Keith Urban.

In the new episode “Sun on the Horizon,” the community’s families gather to celebrate a welcome break in the unforgivin­g winter weather, and Edna receives an unforgetta­ble birthday present. Meanwhile, the Seldens receive news that is likely to change their lives forever, and Tyler and Ashley get a taste of what their future life together will be like.

Best known for his iconic comedy work with Keanu Reeves in the “Bill & Ted” movie series, former juvenile actor-turned-filmmaker Alex Winter directed this new 2020 film, which throws a spotlight on children who grow up in the world of show business. Becoming famous at an early age brings with it both advantages and drawbacks, as illustrate­d through interviews with some of the most famous former child stars in the world, including Henry Thomas (“E.T. the Extraterre­strial”), Mara Wilson (“Mrs. Doubtfire”) and Wil Wheaton (“Stand by Me”).

WEDNESDAY Will Sasso United We Fall 8PMon (6) (9) (22) United We Fall

This new sitcom stars Will Sasso and Christina Vidal Mitchell as Bill and Jo, parents of two young kids, who are just trying to make it day to day as a functionin­g family. Her large Latinx Catholic family never hesitates to let them know when they’re falling short, but the household tension level really ratchets up when Sandy (Jane Curtin), Bill’s relentless­ly judgmental mother, moves in with them. Guillermo Diaz also stars. Another new episode immediatel­y follows.

Don Cornelius (Sinqua Walls) looks to secure a new talk show with the network even as he is battling a crippling migraine in the Season 2 finale, “So Long, Sucker.” Since surviving what they now realize was truly a near-death experience, Simone and JT (Katlyn Nichol, Christophe­r Jefferson) only feel more driven to search for their own independen­ce and win over Aiya’s (Jaxon Rose Moore) foster parents.

THURSDAY Tina Fey 30 Rock 8PMon (2) (4) (5) 30 Rock: A One-Time Special

Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) is getting the band back together, so to speak, as the cast of NBC’s Emmy-winning sitcom “30 Rock” reunite for one night only to help NBC announce news about its 2020-21 TV season. Alec Baldwin (Jack Donaghy), Jane Krakowski (Jenna Maroney), Tracy Morgan (Tracy Jordan) and Jack McBrayer (Kenneth Parcell) all reprise their familiar characters for the one-hour special, which was filmed remotely under quarantine.

8PMon (26) Killer Camp

Comic Bobby Mair hosts this new genre-hopping reality competitio­n series, in which 11 British strangers who think they’ve signed up for a fun new “Summer Camp” reality show discover they’re actually participat­ing in a horror whodunit, in which one of them is “killed” in each episode by a mystery maniac among them. Obviously, the object of the game is for the “campers” to figure out and identify which of them is the killer before they themselves are dispatched.

FRIDAY Sterling K. Brown Waves 8PMon (SHOW) Movie: Waves

Trey Edward Shults wrote, directed, produced and co-edited this shattering 2019 drama, which received only a limited release in theaters yet earned widespread critical acclaim, including being named one of the year’s 10 best movies by the National Board of Review. Set in South Florida, the film stars Kelvin Harrison

Jr. as Tyler Williams, a popular high school athlete whose father, Ronald (Sterling K. Brown), constantly pressures him to excel.

Production on Season 10 of AMC’s hit series “The Walking Dead” was shuttered by the coronaviru­s pandemic, but one of the show’s stars, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, has made good use of his downtime hosting this low-key but delightful half-hour weekly talk show while quarantine­d with actress-wife Hilarie Burton Morgan on their upstate New York farm. Tonight’s finale marks the end of their 12 episodes, as the couple catches up remotely with Morgan’s “Dead” co-star Lauren Cohan.

SATURDAY Dan Aykroyd Hotel Paranormal 8PMon (LIF) Movie: Murder in the Vineyard

Emma Kirk (Helena Mattson) is looking for a more peaceful life when she moves with her teenage daughter, Beatrice (Emma Fuhrmann), to a small town, and at first, it looks like Emma will get her wish. Her new career is thriving, and Beatrice is well-liked by her new peers, including handsome heartthrob Bryan (Matthew Erick White). Things start to take a dark turn, though, when an unknown assailant attacks Beatrice at a party, an incident that soon escalates into more harassment. Daniel Hall and Daniel Covin co-star in this 2020 thriller.

Supernatur­al events weave their influence over a hotel owner, compelling him to dig up some long-buried secrets, in the new episode “A Dark History.” In other segments, a chef is utterly terrorized by a spectral lady in red, and a little boy is threatened by a dark apparition while his family is staying at a luxury hotel.

SUNDAY Dakota Fanning The Alienist: Angel of Darkness 8PMon (NGEO) World’s Biggest Tiger Shark

In this new one-hour special, marine biologist Kori Garza teams up with underwater cinematogr­apher Andy Casagrande for an expedition to French Polynesia, where the pair plans to track Kamakai, one of the largest tiger sharks on record. Upon arrival, their quest takes them to a remote lagoon, but instead of Kamakai, they stumble upon a discovery for shark science: a population of junior tiger sharks using cooperativ­e hunting tactics.

9PM on (TNT) The Alienist: Angel of Darkness

Daniel Bruhl, Luke Evans and Dakota Fanning return to their starring roles in this sequel to his psychologi­cal thriller “The Alienist." Set in late 19th-century New York, this follow-up opens as Sara Howard (Fanning), now a licensed detective, teams again with Dr. Laszlo Kreizler (Bruhl) and newly minted New York Times reporter John Moore (Evans) to find the kidnapped infant daughter of a Spanish dignitary.
