Dayton police reform group members hold meetings
Working groups charged with recommending steps to bring about policing reform in Dayton have held meetings since the City Commission defined the reform process in June. The groups’ memberships were announced June 29. An overview and detailed updates may be found at daytonohio.gov/ policereform. Anyone with concerns about policing practices is asked to email policecomplaints@ daytonohio.gov.
The working groups, their purposes, co-leads and members are:
Oversight: Increase transparency in the process to report suspected police misconduct and strengthen the Citizen Appeal Board made up of community members.
