New Visit Dayton app

Information on attractions, events, hotels, and restaurants in Dayton and Montgomery County can now be conveniently found in the palm of your hand thanks to the Dayton Convention & Visitors Bureau’s new mobile app. The free Visit Dayton app is now available to download to your smart phone from the Apple App Store and Google Play. You can also find links to download the app at daytoncvb.com.

Those who download the Visit Dayton app can enter a weekly drawing for a $50 gift certificate.

“The Dayton CVB is always looking for innovative ways to engage with residents and visitors. The new Visit Dayton app brings together information from our website, events calendar, and visitors guide into one convenient place,” said Jacquelyn Y. Powell, president and CEO of the Dayton Convention & Visitors Bureau.

The Visit Dayton app provides easy to navigate information on Dayton and Montgomery County attractions, arts & culture, events, hotels, outdoor recreation, restaurants, sports, transportation, and more. In addition, the Dayton CVB has created multiple “Daycation” itineraries that are available on the app to help residents and visitors plan out their days and activities in Greater Dayton.

The Dayton/Montgomery Convention & Visitors Bureau, an independent, non-profit organization funded by a county-wide customer hotel/motel bed tax, serves as an economic catalyst by marketing and promoting the community as THE Ohio destination and providing services for tourism events, conventions, leisure and business travel and advocacy for destination development.
