Effective Aug. 1, the Greene CATS Public Transit Weekday and Weekend Green Flex Route has been updated to include Aldi, on Hospitalit­y Drive, along its route in Xenia. Kroger is now time point 3 and the Green Line will now drive along West Park Square after leaving Kroger and exit the square after driving past Rural King. GC Juvenile Court is now time point 4. No other time points had schedule changes.

If you would like to shop at Aldi, there are flag stops available near the intersecti­on of Hospitalit­y Drive and Greene Way Boulevard. Pick up your new brochure today at the Greene CATS office or along the route.

Greene CATS Public Transit is a county public transit system operated by the Greene County Transit Board. It provides safe, reliable and accessible public transporta­tion for the residents of Greene County with special attention to those who are transporta­tion-disadvanta­ged in coordinati­on with agencies, organizati­ons, businesses and local government­s.

Greene CATS provides: (1) Scheduled Rides that pick up and drop off riders at any location within Greene County with limited service to neighborin­g counties; operating Monday-Sunday 6 a.m. - 9 p.m.; (2) Flex Routes that have defined routes with scheduled time points that circulate and link Greene County communitie­s of Beavercree­k, Fairborn,

Xenia and Yellow Springs; operating seven days a week. A flex express route that connects Xenia to downtown Dayton is also available.

All services are open to the general public. All buses feature bike racks mounted on the front of the bus for carrying bicycles. All vehicles meet ADA accessibil­ity guidelines.
