Dr. Roxana Aguirre has joinedKetteringCancerCare inKettering, which provides comprehensive cancer services toDayton and the surrounding communities. Aguirre is board certifified in internal medicine and oncology. She specializes in hospice care, oncology and hematology. She earned her medical degree from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru. In addition to English, Dr. Aguirre is flfluent in Spanish.

Kevin Harlan has been appointed president of Premier Health’s Upper Valley Medical Center (UVMC) following the retirement of Tom Parker at the end of July.
Harlanwill join UVMC on Sept. 7.
Harlan’shealthcare career spans nearly 39 years. Most recently, heledthe St. Marys, Ohio- based Grand Lake Health System as president andCEOfor the last 15 years.
He previously held key executive leadership roles in diagnostic services, hospital operations, outpatient joint ventures, and health care alliances. His most recent responsibilities have included oversight of an acute care hospital, nursinghome, foundation, home health agency, multi- specialty physician practice, and cancer network.
Throughout his career, Harlan has led numerous initiatives aimed at providing high quality health care, improving the patient experience, and enhancing outreach and education programs on behalf of the communities he has served.

Harlan comes to Premier Health with an Associate’s Degree in radiology from SinclairCollege, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Natural Sciences from Wright State University, and aMaster of Business Administration fromCentral Michigan University. He is a member of numerous professional health care and community organizations, including the Ohio Hospital Association andtheGreater DaytonArea Hospital Association.
