President’ s attorney positive for COVID-19
Donald Trump revealed the diagnosis Sunday for Rudy Giuliani, who is leading a legal fight to overturn the election.

Donald Trump said Sunday his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani has tested positive for the coronavirus, making him the latest in Trump’s inner circle to contract the disease that is nowsurgingacrosstheU.S.
The former New York mayor has traveled extensivelytobattlegroundstates in an effffffort to help Trump subvert his election loss. On numerous occasions he hasmetwith local officials for hours at a time without wearing a mask.
Trump, who confirmed Giuliani’s positive test in a Sundaytweet, wishedhim a speedy recovery. “Get better soon Rudy, we will carry on!!!” Trumpwrote.
NBC News reports Giuliani,76,isthe53rdmember of the administration, campaignorcontacttotest positivesinceTrump, MelaniaTrump,andHopeHicks tested positive in October.

OnWednesday, Giuliani was in Lansing, Michigan, to testify in a 4 1/2
hour hearing in which he pushed lawmakers to ignore the certification of Joe Biden’s Michigan victory and appoint electors forTrump.Hedidnotwear a mask. At one point, he askedone of hiswitnesses — aDetroitelectionworker — if shewould be comfortable removing her mask.
Giulianimadeanappearance Sunday on FoxNews to speak about his legal challenges in states on behalf of Trump.
Last month, his son, Andrew Giuliani, a special assistant to Trump, said he tested positive for coronavirus.
