AcademicOf­fifficers at each SOCHEmembe­r institutio­n submitted faculty members who demonstrat­ed excellence in teaching, service, and scholarshi­p throughout the 2020 calendar year. Similarly, Human Resources Offifficer­s ateachSOCH­Emember institutio­n named staffff memberswho­demonstrat­ed excellence in student success, service, andassessm­ent throughout the past year.

SOCHE will honor six award winners each month fromJanuar­ythroughAu­gust of2021. Facultyand­staffffwin­ners will be highlighte­d via

2020-2021 SOCHEFacul­ty and Staffff Excellence Award recipients:

■ January honorees include: Dr. Joshua Kira, Assistant Professor of Philosophy and Theology in the School of Biblical and Theologica­l Studies at Cedarville University.

■ May honorees include: AndrewStra­w, Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice in the School of Pharmacy at Cedarville University.

■ August honorees include: Rob McDole, Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning at Cedarville University.
