TheXenia Community Schools Foundation is currently accepting nominations for the 2021 Class of the Xenia Community Schools Hall of Honor.
Nominees should be graduates of Xenia High School who have achieved remarkable success in their career and/or anyone who has made a significant contribution to education in Xenia.
Nominations are due by February 5. TheHall ofHonor Banquet will be held April 24 at Tecumseh Elementary School.
There are several options for submitting a nomination:
■ Followthe guidelines listed on theXenia Community Schools Foundationwebsite (xcsfoundation.com) in the Hall of Honor section.
■ The “Hall of Honor Nomination Form” is available on the Xenia Chamber site by clicking the link to the form. Complete the form and submit it by email to: staff@xcsfoundation.com. In addition to email, forms can be submitted by postal mail or hand delivered to the Xenia Chamber of Commerce.
■ The form can be printed from the Xenia Community Schools Foundation section of the Xenia Community Schools website(www.xeniaschools.org).
■ Paper copies of the form are available at the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce.
Note: Self-nominations are acceptable aswell as posthumous nominations. The nomination(s) can be emailed to staff@xcsfoundation.comor mailed to theXenia Community Schools Foundation, c/o Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce, 334 West Market Street, Xenia, OH 45385.
The Hall ofHonor plaques display is located at the entrance to Xenia High School. The display honors those who have made significant contributions. It also serves as a motivator for current students to realize the value of the education they are receiving, as well as their responsibility to make a significant difference in their world.
Kettering Health Network has expanded its COVID-19 vaccine clinics. The network began vaccinating health care workers at Soin Medical Center and Sycamore Medical Center last week, with additional locations starting this week as vaccine quantities allow.
In addition to SoinMedicalCenter and Sycamore Medical Center, Kettering Health Network continues to vaccinate health care workers at Kettering Medical Center and Grandview Medical Center.
