The re- launch of Third Perk in downtown Dayton adds another retail boost to the Fire Blocks District in the 100 block of East Third Street that earlier this year addedSaltBlockBiscuitCompany andwhichwill soon be home to a new full-service restaurant, Jollity, and to a new bar that is early in its development stage called Bozack’s Lounge.

The new Third Perk Coffeehouse & Wine Bar will offffffffffffer a similarmenu, including sandwiches and chili, as her shopat FifthandLudlow, Darden said earlier this year.
The new shop’s hours are 7 a. m. to 5 p. m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends, Darden said today.

The new eatery called Venecia Italian Restaurant in south Kettering is now open.
The new restaurant is located at 1980 E. Whipp Road just west of Bigger Road, in the building that previously housed McGillicutty’s Pub.
Venecia is open for lunch and dinner six days a week. Itshours are11a.m. to 10p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, closed on Mondays.
Themenu includes a wide variety of pizzas and pasta dishes, as well as sub sandwiches, calzones/stromboli, NewYork-style rolls, salads, appetizersanddesserts. Interior seating is available, as is carryout.
