Library offers new virtual literacy club
Starting in March, the Washington-Centerville Library will be offering the Next Chapter Book Club, a community-based literacy program for those with developmental disabilities that promotes literacy, social connections, and inclusion for teens and adults. Guided by librarians and adult volunteers, participants read a book together and discuss it as a group over the course of six weeks, with the meetings being held virtually on Monday afternoons, 4 to 5 p.m.
The club’s first meeting will be held virtually on Monday, March 8, and registration is required to receive the Webex invitation. For more information about the program, contact Jenny Catri at jcatri@wcpl. lib.oh.us.
