Bid opening set

The Austin Center JEDD ( JEDD) will receive sealed bids until 3 p.m. Tuesday for providing all labor, materials, services, and equipment required for turf, irrigation and landscape services to Austin Center JEDD public spaces along Austin Boulevard, Byers Road, and connecting roadway intersections.

The bid specifications and bid form became available on Miami Township’s website homepage (www.miamitownship.com) starting Feb. 18 for the Austin Aesthetics Maintenance Program. Bids will be opened at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 17, via Zoom teleconference due to COVID19 restrictions for gathering. A link to attend the Zoom meeting will be available on Miami Township’s website homepage and interested participants are required to register for the bid opening in advance.

Bids are to be sealed and mailed to: Miami Township Public Works, 10891 Wood Road, Miamisburg, OH, 45342, Attn: Austin Center JEDD, and plainly indicating on the outside of the envelope “2021 Austin Aesthetics Maintenance Program”. A bid bond or certified check in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid shall accompany each bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted a contract will be entered into and the performance of it properly secured.

The JEDD reserves the right to reject any/all bids, and to award the contract in the best interest of the JEDD. The obligations of the JEDD are subject to the entry into a mutually executed contract with the successful bidder. STAFF REPORT
