10 PM on (AMC) The Secrets She Keeps

Adapted from a literary thriller by Michael Robotham, this six-part Australian miniseries stars former “Downton Abbey” actress Laura Carmichael as expectant mother Agatha Fyfle. While toiling away as a supermarke­t shelf-stacker, Agatha develops an obsession with the seemingly perfect life of a customer, Meghan Shaughness­y (Jessica De Gouw, “Arrow”). Michael Dorman, Ryan Corr, Cariba Heine, Michael Sheasby and Jenni Baird also are featured.

The global COVID-19 pandemic may be showing signs of waning, but the fishermen still face an existentia­l threat to their livelihood­s as this hit reality series returns for its landmark 17th season. With half the crab boats tied up and the entire fishery in Dutch Harbor, Alaska, facing possible closure, it becomes clear the fleet will have to put aside old rivalries and pull together.

9PMon (FREE) Cruel Summer

Jessica Biel is an executive producer on this new limited series, a thriller that unfolds over three years in the 1990s and revolves around two young women: Kate Wallis (Olivia Holt), a local golden girl who suddenly goes missing, and Jeanette Turner (Chiara Aurelia), a nerdy misfit who becomes a suspect in Kate’s disappeara­nce. As the story unfolds from shifting points of view, however, the series challenges perception­s and asks whether Kate is who she is thought to be. Another episode follows.

8PMon (HGTV) Property Brothers: Forever Home

An open-hearted

Las Vegas couple is following their longcheris­hed dream of turning their residence into a foster home in the new episode “Do It for the Kids.” This passion project inspires Drew and Jonathan to rework the main floor, which would give the home a safety update. Just as important, it’s part of the overall design plan to provide a warm vibe for future kids in years to come.

10 PM on (FX) Snowfall

This historical crime drama wraps up Season 4 with a finale called “Fight or Flight,” as Franklin’s (Damson Idris) family finally collapses under the stress of multiple fractures. Elsewhere, Teddy (Carter Hudson) is forced to make a difficult decision, and Gustavo (Sergio PerisMench­eta) chooses a new path for himself. FX has renewed this series for a fifth season.

In the new Season 19 finale, “Hitting the Jackpot,” the two final chefs compete in their most important cooking challenge yet, which will determine who receives a lifechangi­ng grand prize, including the position of head chef at Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen Lake Tahoe restaurant. Oh, and there’s also the matter of taking the coveted title as “Hell’s Kitchen” Season 19 winner.

Two of Britain’s fastestris­ing young stars — Josh O’Connor and Jessie Buckley — play starcrosse­d lovers “Romeo and Juliet” in this stylized film of Simon Godwin’s National Theatre staging of Shakespear­e’s timeless classic. This contempora­ry rendering of the play celebrates the power of theatrical imaginatio­n, moving from a no-frills rehearsal into a cinematic journey, some of which takes place in backstage areas of the Lyttleton Theatre.

11 PM on (HBO) A Black Lady Sketch Show

The Emmy-nominated sketch comedy series returns for a second season of six episodes, with new featured players Laci Mosley and Skye Townsend joining returning core cast members Robin Thede, Gabrielle Dennis and Ashley Nicole Black. Among the scheduled Season 2 celebrity guest stars are Issa Rae (“Insecure”), also an executive producer, along with Gabrielle Union, Jesse Williams, Miguel, Laz Alonso, Skai Jackson, Omarion, Kim Wayans, Ayesha Curry, Lance Gross, and Wunmi Mosaku.

8PMon (TRAV) Ghost Brothers: Lights Out

TV’s only black paranormal crusaders — Atlanta-based trio Dalen Spratt, Juwan Mass and Marcus Harvey — anchor this new ghost-busting series that follows a somewhat unconventi­onal format. Each episode starts with Mass and Harvey investigat­ing an allegedly haunted property with no prior knowledge of the site, while Spratt — who has fully briefed himself on the history of the location — guides the other pair from a remote “command center.”

9PMon (SHOW) Movie: Mid90s

Jonah Hill received praise for his feature directing debut on this 2018 coming-of-age dramedy, which he also wrote. Set in 1996, the film stars Sunny Suljic as Stevie, aka “Sunburn,” who lives in the Los Angeles community of Palms with his abusive older brother, Ian (Lucas Hedges), and his single mom, Dabney (Katherine Waterston). He begins exhibiting increasing­ly reckless behavior after falling in with a mostly older group of skateboard­ers.

SUNDAY Carey Mulligan My Grandparen­ts’ War

Broadcast from both the Dolby Theatre and Union Station in Los Angeles, the 93rd Academy Awards is expected to be largely a virtual affair, owing to pandemic heath restrictio­ns, and details are still being ironed out by this year’s producers, which include filmmaker Steven Soderbergh. Writer-directorpr­oducer Tyler Perry will receive the Jean Hersholt Humanitari­an Award for his philanthro­pic efforts.

This four-episode docuseries concludes with an hour devoted to the family of two-time Oscar nominee Carey Mulligan. The actress’s grandfathe­r, Denzil Booth from the Welsh Valleys, was a teenager when he traveled thousands of miles to fight the Japanese forces in the final months of World War II. As a navy officer aboard Britain’s biggest warship, Booth lost his closest friends during a kamikaze attack. Mulligan travels to Japan to get a dramatic perspectiv­e on the horrors her grandfathe­r faced in Tokyo.
