Young Sheldon, 8 PM on Ch. 7 and Ch. 12: Sheldon (Iain Armitage) hates change more than almost anything else, but he and siblings Missy and Georgie (Raegan Revord, Montana Jordan) find themselves struggling to adjust to new living arrangements in the new episode “Pish Posh and a Secret Back Room.” The latter part of that episode refers to a covert gambling club their Meemaw (Annie Potts) opens up. Zoe Perry and Lance Barber also star; Bill Fagerbakke guest stars.

Walker, 8 PM on Ch. 26: Realizing his life is at risk, Walker (Jared Padalecki) confronts Captain James (Coby Bell), who confesses to Walker the real reason Micki (Lindsey Morgan) went undercover, in the Season 2 premiere, “They Started It.” Meanwhile, the Davidson family returns home, setting Walker family matriarch Abeline (Molly Hagan) on edge because of a dark history that stretches between the two clans. Elsewhere, Trey (Jeff Pierre) comes perilously close to blowing Micki’s cover.

NFL Football, 8 PM on Ch. 19; 8:20 PM on NFL; 1:30 AM on NFL: A clash of NFC division leaders is in the offing tonight at State Farm Stadium, where Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals will try to score a home victory over Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. Everything has clicked for the West-leading Cardinals in the early going, with Murray leading the team to victories in its first four games and gaining a lot of mention as an MVP candidate. As for Rodgers and the Pack, they’ve weathered injuries to key offensive linemen to emerge as the top team in the North.
