Vaccine clinic set for Nov. 13, Dec. 4

-

The Kettering City School District will be partnering with Rite Aid Pharmacy to hold COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics on Saturday, Nov. 13, and Saturday, Dec. 4. The vaccine clinics will be held in the gym at Indian Riffle Elementary School, 3090 Glengarry Drive.

The Pfizer vaccine will be available for children ages 5 to 11 and for anyone, ages 12 and up who would like to get the vaccine. The Pfizer vaccine requires two doses.

A parent or guardian must accompany any child getting vaccinated who is under the age of 18.

The Moderna booster vaccine will be available at the Vaccine Clinic on Dec. 4.

Rite Aid would like to have an idea of how many parents/guardians will attend the clinic with their child to have the child vaccinated and/or how many individuals 12-years-old and up will attend the clinic to get vaccinated. Similarly, Rite Aid would like to have an idea of how many people who are eligible to get the booster will want to do so on Dec. 4.

Participants are asked to take a moment to complete an online survey to help Rite Aid determine how many vaccines they may be administering at the clinics. The survey is completely anonymous. Rite Aid will not be capturing the names or email addresses of anyone who completes the form.

Completing this form does not register an individual for the vaccine. A “sign-up genius” link will be mailed next week to parents/ guardians and staff that can be used to make an appointment for the vaccine clinic on Nov. 13.

The time of your appointment(s) to receive your second dose of the vaccine on Dec. 4, will be the same time as your Nov. 13 appointment(s).
